PURPOSE:To attain picture reproduction with high sharpness, by changing amount of each color component constituting black component and controlling a black level entirely independently of each color component signal. CONSTITUTION:When all the video signals are at high level, that is, when yellow, magenta and cyan components are at high density, they are extracted as the black component. Each data of yellow, magenta and cyan is vacant at the part of black component of the original in a multiplexer 48 and at the part other than black, the yellow, magenta and cyan are processed as data having respective density, the black component is blank, and selected and controlled automatically not to be overlapped with other picture element in printing. |
