PURPOSE:To obtain securely the invariably correct totalization result of duty time by storing data necessary for the duty time totalization in the memory of a data processor side and a card allotted to an individual. CONSTITUTION:When an IC card 1 is inserted into a data input/output device 11, office attendance/leaving time data at that time is obtained on the basis of an electronic timepiece 15 and stored in a storage device 16 together with the identification code of the card 1. At this time, the data stored in the device 16 is outputted to the card 1 and written in an electrically erasable P-ROM42. Then, the card 1 is inserted into the device 1 for duty time totalization and the time data recorded in the ROM42 is read out to perform the totalization. This totalization result is denoted as A. Then a CPU12 totalizes the duty time on the basis of the time data stored in the device 16. This totalization result is denoted as B. Then, the CPU collates the result A with the result B to judge that the totalization result is correct when they coincide with each other, and stores and prints out the result in the device 16 and on a printer 17. |
