THERMAL TRANSFER COLOR SHEET

PURPOSE:To improve the reproducibility of gradation and the environmental resistance while saving energy of a recorder by providing a heat transiting color material layer containing at least either a bubbling or foaming agent on a porous section of a porous body with one side closed. CONSTITUTION:This color sheet is composed of a porous body 2a made of a fiber or the like, a resin 2b with which voids of the porous body 2a is impregnated to close one side thereof 2a, a layer 2c having a bubbling or foaming agent in porous voids likewise and a layer having a dye 2d and a binder 2e. Heat fed from a thermal head 1 is transmitted efficiently with an aid of the resin 2b to cause the expansion of gas in bubbles or the generation of a decomposed gas of the foaming agent. A resulting bursting force helps a melting or sublimating dye molecule transit to an image receiving paper 3 to form a color- formed image 3a.
