<p>Surround for domestic appliances, such as, for example, cookers, refrigerators, freezer cabinets, refuse compactors, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers and the like, with a first surround part, arranged under the kitchen worktop, for receiving instruments and control elements, and with a second surround part for compensating height differences between kitchen-appliance doors or decorative panels of differing height and/or between first surround parts of differing height, the second surround part being designed for the maximum height difference to be bridged, and moreover the second surround part being capable of being shortened, characterised in that the first surround part for receiving instruments and control elements is made in one piece with the second surround part for bridging the height difference and rigid, and in that one or more weakening points for reducing the height of the surround are formed on the rear side of the surround. <IMAGE></p> |
