PURPOSE:To attain a small-sized and light weight device, by providing a reading head and a recording head in one unit on a base, turning a guide shaft and changing the scanning position of each head to switch the reading and recording. CONSTITUTION:A head 30 consists of the reading head 31 and the recording head 32, both heads are arranged on one base, a flexible cable is connected to a signal leadout section of the head to transmit and receive the signal. In reading, an oval flat plane 10'a of a main guide shaft 10a is made horizontal and the head 31 of the head 30 is lifted up with a reading spring 60. In this state, a carriage 6 is moved from the paper surface to this side for reading. On the other hand, the flat plane 10'a is made perpendicular at recording and the head 32 side of the head 30 is lifted up with a recording spring 70. Thus, the recording is attained by moving the carriage 6 from this side to the paper plane. |
