NEW MATERIAL:The aniline derivative of formula I (R<1> is CH3 or C1211H5; R<2> is H or benzyl) and its acid addition salt. EXAMPLE:2-Methyl-N-(3-piperidinopropyl)aniline. USE:A muscle relaxant. Dose: 100-1,000mg of the active component daily for adult. PROCESS:The compound of formula I can be prepared by reacting the aniline derivative of formula II with the piperidine derivative of formula III (X is halogen, acyloxy, mesyloxy or tosyloxy) in the presence or absence of a solvent, preferably in the presence of a base such as NaOH, etc. at a temperature between 0 deg.C and the boiling point of the solvent. |
