<p>PURPOSE:To achieve a higher functioning property of a timer, by inputting a time setting data by the operation of a numeric key also serving as a selection key after a timer setting key for shift to a timer setting mode to simplify the operation of the timer. CONSTITUTION:A keyboard of remotely controlling transmitter 20 of a TV receiver is provided with numeric keys 22-44 indicating 1-12 numbers 1-12, an ON timer key 46, an OFF timer key 48, a channel call key 50 and the like. The numeric keys 22-38 and a numeric key 42 are also used for setting the ON timer and the OFF timer and corresponding numbers at timer setting is shown below these keys. After a time mode is set in by the operation of the keys 46 and 48 and the call key 50, a timer setting data is inputted by the operation of the numeric keys 22-38 also serving as a selection key and the key 42. In response to a remote control operation signal by the operation of the key 46, a microcomputer 46 in the image receiver is set on the ON timer, and on the OFF timer by the operation of the key 48. This amplifies the operation of the timers.</p> |
