PURPOSE:To prevent leakage of fluid in cylinder by fitting a rubber or synthetic resin ring rotatably to the inner wall of piston and side section of cylinder while contacting tightly thereby eliminating lubricant. CONSTITUTION:A rotary ring 3 is set such that it will roll while contacting simultaneously with a piston 1 and cylinder 2. The ring 3 has circular cross- section the diameter of which is slightly longer than the interval between the piston 1 and cylinder 2 in accordance to the resiliency. The ring 3 itself will move up and down by half stroke of the piston 1 as the piston 1 moves up and down, thereby the side section of piston must be longer than said distance. Consequently friction between the cylinder and piston is reduced considerably regardless of lubrication, and since there is no cutting in the ring, leakage of fluid can be blocked. |
