PURPOSE:To reduce the size and weight of a pump system and to count exactly blood cells by correcting the suction force of the pump according to the flow passage condition of a blood sample, and maintaining the flow rate of the blood sample constant. CONSTITUTION:A servocontrol motor 7 is rotated to move vertically a moving body 9 thereby putting a piston part 2b into and out from a syringe 2. A check valve 3 is provided to the syringe 2. The sample is sucked in the cylinder through one route 3b from a detection part 5 side in the suction stroke of the syringe 2 and the material sucked in the cylinder is discharged through the other route 3c to the outside in the discharging stroke. The rotating direction and speed of the motor 7 are controlled in the stage of calibration in such a way that the output counted in the part 5 is compared with a reference value and that said direction and speed are controlled until the difference from the reference value is eliminated. The calibration is performed periodically by using the standard sample in such constitution, and since the rotating speed of the servocontrol motor is so set that the specified quantity is automatically obtd. as a result of such calibration, the exact measurement of the blood cells can be performed. |
