摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a high output in the signal in a short wavelength region by maintaining the surface glossiness of a thin ferromagnetic metallic layer formed in a vacuum on a coated magnetic layer provided on a non-magnetic substrate at >=310%. CONSTITUTION:A coated magnetic layer is provided on a non-magnetic substrate 1 and further a thin ferromagnetic metallic layer 3 is formed thereon. The surface characteristic is required to have >=310% glossiness in order to obtain the output of a long wavelength region or above in a short wavelength region. A resin solution is coated on the layer 2 and is dried and is further subjected to a mirror finishing process according to need in order to improve the glossiness of the layer 3, whereby the layer 3 having much better surface characteristics is obtd.
