Contacting device for a plug-in card

The contacting device serves to make frequent contact with credit card-like plug-in cards (1) which have an integrated circuit component. The contacting device has a carriage (3) which can be displaced in the insertion direction in the housing (2) of the contacting device and is guided so as to pivot perpendicularly with respect to the plane of the plug-in card. The carriage (3) is displaced by the plug-in card (1). At the same time, the said carriage pivots with its spring contacts (8) on to the plug-in card so that the latter can come to rest virtually free of friction on contact faces of the plug-in card (1). <IMAGE>
