The invention indicates a transducer housing for railway purposes, having connections for a measurement electronics unit and through openings for busbars or cables, which has a cover (4) which can be placed on which has cooling ribs (5) externally on its top and a fixedly installed circuit board (6) internally with electrical switching elements which are connected to the transducer via a connector (7). In addition, there is an incline (9) provided with webs (8), which incline (9) corresponds to the incline (10) of the two-piece housing lower part (11) and between which the connections for the measurement electronics unit are passed. Two holes (12), arranged on the sides, are provided for attachment of the housing (1). The through openings (3, 18) are designed such that they firmly hold the cables (19) and the busbar (17) by pressing in and by means of screws respectively.
