PURPOSE:To achieve a smaller size and a lighter weight with an integral formation of a transmitter and a receiver by providing a first conical reflection body adapted to convert and reflect a sound wave in the specified direction and a second reflection body for irradiating reflected waves to an object to be measured on the output side of the transmitter. CONSTITUTION:When a transmitter/receiver is operated at the position facing an object to be measured, a transmitter 1 transmits a sound wave having a specified frequency. The sound wave thus transmitted is reflected outwardly with the conical surface of a first reflection body 7 and reaches a second reflection body 8. The second reflection body 8 changes the angle of reflection freely to have the sound wave irradiating the object being measured accuately. The sound wave irradiated from the second reflection body 8 reaches the object and reflected to be inputted into a receiver 11 of the transmitter/receiver 11. The sound wave is converted into an electrical signal to be introduced to a processing circuit. |
