PURPOSE:To enable to fix a plant platform vessel easily by composing the plant platform vessel of a main platform vessel installed with a plant installation, a wall platform vessel with enclosure walls to contain the main platform vessel inside for fast fixing the main platform vessel in the still water inside the wall platform vessel. CONSTITUTION:A main platform vessel 1 is formed by steel, concrete, and the like into a box-shaped floating body installed with a set of a plant installation. The wall platform vessel 2 to contain this main platform vessel 1 inside is formed into a box-shaped floating body provided with enclosure walls with a fixed height around. For fast fixing the plant platform vessel, at first, the wall platform vessels 2 with the main platform vessel 1 placed inside is towed to a fixed sea area, and water is injected into the wall platform vessel 2, which is sunk and settled on the sea bottom. Then, water is injected between walls of the wall platform vessel 2 and the main platform vessel 1, and the main platform vessel 1 is floated and fast fixed in the still water. This construction permits to disuse a large-scale and precise foundation work and fast fix the plant platform vessel easily at the fixed sea area. |
