<p>PURPOSE:To provide a continuous steel making device which stabilizes components and temp. and enables the stable operation of a continuous steel making furnace by consisting the same of a cupola as a supply source for molten steel, a molten iron holding furnace and the continuous steel making furnace. CONSTITUTION:Steel scrap, cast iron scrap, etc. are used as main materials in a cupola 5. Coke 2 as fuel and limestone 3 as a slag forming agent are mixed and the mixture is charged almost continuously from the furnace top by means of a charging basket 4. On the other hand, air is supplied through plural tuyeres 7 in the lower part and the main materials 1 are melted. Molten metal 8 is tapped continuously and is once stored in a molten iron holding furnace 9 provided with a heating source 10 by which the temp. and components are made uniform. Each specified amt. of the molten metal is charged 8' from a changeover spout 11 continuously into a continuous steel making furnace 12. The molten iron 8' is continuously refined in the furnace 12 and is tapped as molten steel 15. The molten steel is further stored in a component adjusting furnace 16 and molten steel 17 which is a product is obtd. after the component adjustment. The components of the molten steel 17 are always analyzed with an analyzer 20 and an oxygen supply valve 22 is controlled with a controller 21 by the comparison with the standard components of the product, whereby the supply rate of oxygen is adjusted and the refining reaction is controlled.</p> |
