<p>An ignition coil for an internal combustion engine comprises primary and secondary windings 7,12 made from copper. The primary winding 7 is modified by a part 7a so as to have a temperature coefficient of resistance higher than that of a copper whereby a current value adequate for an effective efficient ignition spark can be obtained in the primary winding at low temperature and with a reduced supply voltage. <IMAGE></p> |
