<p>PURPOSE:To decrease the steam consumption required for the regeneration of a moisture absorbent in a dehumidification device wherein a dehumidifier for bring ing the adsorbent into contact with wet air and a regenerator for heating the absorbent with steam are connected by providing a preheating section using the used steam. CONSTITUTION:The wet air introduced into the lower part of a body 1 of a cylindrical dehumidifier is brought into contact with the mist-like LiCl soln. (moisture absorbent) from the supply pipe 4 in the upper part of the body 1 and is led out as dehumidified air B. A deteriorated moisture absorbent 6 accumulates in the bottom of the body 1. Such absorbent is fed through a liquid feed pipe 8 to the supply pipe 10 in the upper part in a regenerator 9 where the absorbent is regenerated by receiving the heat from a heating section 11 supplied with the steam C in the regenerator 9. The regenerated absorbent is supplied to the pipe 4. The steam C used for heating the absorbent 6 is fed to a preheating section 12 tracing the pipe 8 to preheat the absorbent 6. The steam C used for the preheating is discarded to the outside of the system as drain D.</p> |
