PURPOSE:To obtain the titled combination vessels having excellent appearance and being inexpensive by molding separately a main vessel provided with a special recess and a subordinate vessel provided with a protrusion fitted to said recess, and by fitting the protrusion to the recess to be matched exactly therewith while the main vessel is in a hot and soft state. CONSTITUTION:A main tank 1 having a recess 3 formed integrally on one side surface and a pair of projections 3a and 3b provided in the upper and lower parts of said recess so that they embrace the recess from above and below to form it in the shape of a dovetail, and a subordinate tank 2 provided with such a protrusion 4 on the side surface facing the main tank 1 as to be fitted to the recess 3 of the main tank 1, are formed separately by blow molding by means of separate molds or the like. Then, while the main tank 1 is still at high temperature and soft immediately after release, namely while it is still in a hot and soft state, the protrusion 4 of the subordinate tank 2 is fitted to the recess 3 of the main tank 1 and cooled down to be set, and thereby the desired combination vessels formed integrally are obtained. |
