<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operability of a magnetic recording and reproducing device, by providing a fixed time between the end of reproduction of a mechanism and the start of reproduction of the next mechanism. CONSTITUTION:When a tape is continuously played from a mechanism 5 to a mechanism 6, a changeover switch of an operation part 2 is set at the continuous side. Then a cartridge is inserted to the mechanism 6, and a cartridge detection switch 11 is turned on. The reproduction of the mechanism 5 is completed and non-signal state is detected by a detecting circuit 9. The output of this detection is supplied to a microcomputer 1, and a timer is started via the part 2. The presence or absence of a cartridge is detected for the mechanism 6 when a fixed time elapses. Then the time is reset, and a motor 8 is turned on, and the continuous reproduction is automatically performed for the cartridge of the mechanism 6. This device improves the operability of a magnetic recording/reproducer.</p> |
