PURPOSE:To make both disassembly and assembly operations performable ever so easy, by forming a yoke for a universal joint with a fork part and a disklike part employed, while coupling these parts together by means of a clamping device, in case of a shaft coupling a main driving shaft and a driven shaft together by an intermediate shaft via the universal joint. CONSTITUTION:A driving shaft transmits its driving force in a way of coupling a main driving shaft 1 to a yoke 11 for a universal joint with a solenoid clutch utilized. That is to say, an electric current flows into an electromagnet 3, then a magnetic plate 4 is magnetized and a ring 5 is attracted to the magnetic plate 4. If so, the ring 5 gets rotating and a coil spring 6 is rotated in its spiral direction whereby a main driving shaft end bush 7 and the yoke 11 both are unitized in one by clamping the yoke 11 with force of the coil spring 6 and rotation of the main driving shaft 1 is thus transmitted to the yoke 11. In this case, the yoke 11 is divided into a fork part 12 and a disklike part 13 and then they are solidly coupled together by dint of a bolt 15. With this, both disassembling and assembling the yoke 11 from and to the main driving shaft end bush 7 becomes facilitated. |
