A windsurfing simulator comprises a sailboard (9) which is rotatably mounted on a rotary disc (8) and on which a mast (1), swivellable on all sides, with a forked boom (2) connected to it is held. Instead of the sail, a tensioning rope (3) is provided which at the upper end is stretched to the lower end of the mast and holds the end of the forked boom which is remote from the mast. On the upper section of the tensioning rope (3), a roller (4) is arranged, on which a pull device (5, 6) engages. The windsurfing simulator can be adjusted wind-independently and individually. <IMAGE>
