PURPOSE:To obtain the heat exchanger which is capable of performing a large amount of heat exchange, which is small-sized and which is highly efficiency by a method wherein injection holes are provided in a first and a second fluid flow passage forming member, respectively, so that a first fluid and a second fluid are injected from the injection holes so as to run against a heat transfer cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A heat medium compressed to become a high temperature gas flows into the heat exchanger through an inlet hole 14, thus through annular passages 10 formed in a laminated member, runs against the outer wall of the heat transfer cylinder 1 by jetting out from an injection hole 8 and flows out from an outlet hole 15 after it condenses as a result of discharging its heat to water. On the other hand, water enters into the heat exchanger through an inlet hole 13, turns through annular passages 11 formed in a laminated member, runs against the inner wall surface of the heat transfer cylinder 1 by jetting out from an outlet port 12 as it is heated to an elevated temperature. The flow passage forming members 6 and 7 which serve as heat transfer surfaces and which are provided along the inner and the outer surface, respectively, of the heat transfer cylinder 1 produces a heat transfer fin effect in cooperation with each other to thereby promote heat exchange between the fluids, the annular passages 10 and 11 accelerate the flow velocities of the fluids to thereby improve the heat transfer efficiencies of the fluids and further, the heat transfer efficiency of the heat exchanger is improved locally by making the fluids injected to run against the heat transfer cylinder. |
