摘要 PURPOSE:To provide the cooking range which has the functions of calculating the weight and the calorific value of a foodstuff on the base of volume information detected according to the kind of the foodstuff and by a configuration recognizing sensor and which is convenient for exercising health care. CONSTITUTION:The configuration recognizing sensor 15 is formed of, for example, CCD and photographs the interior of a heating chamber 4 through an optical system 14 and an opening 13 by scanning it through a drive circuit 16 and converts the volume of the foodstuff 12 within the heating chamber 4 into an electrical signal. When any one of foodstuff selecting keys 23 of a foodstuff selecting section 22 is pushed down, the specific gravity of a selected foodstuff, for example, meat, is calculated by a control section 17 in accordance with the kind of the foodstuff. Further, when the configuration recognizing key 23 is pushed down in sequence, the volume of the foodstuff 12 is detected by the configuration recognizing sensor 15 and information regarding the foodstuff, such as the weight and the calorific value of the foodstuff, is displayed on a display section 20 by the control section 17.
