<p>PURPOSE:To prevent exhaust purifying performance from deteriorating, by providing a detour passage bypassing an upstream side filter, in which a catalytic solution is injected for promoting combustion of collected inflammable particles, in the case of an exhaust purifying device arranging two filters in series in an exhaust passage. CONSTITUTION:A Diesel engine 1 provides a particulate filter 30, which collects inflammable particles in exhaust, to be arranged in the half way of an exhaust passage 6. Said filter 30 is constituted of an upstream side filter 31, comprising a spongy type filter, and a honeycomb-shaped filter 32. And an injector 8, injecting a catalytic solution for promoting combustion of the collected particles, is provided in the vicinity of the upstream side of the upstream side filter 31. While said filter 30, which provides a detour passage 33 guiding the exhaust bypassing the upstream side filter 31 to an exhaust passage in the upstream side of the downstream side filter 32 while a passage switching valve unit 34 to be interposed in a passage part 6a where said passage 33 branches, switches the exhaust so as to be guided to the detour passage 33 when the exhaust is in a high temperature.</p> |
