<p>An adjustable charge bar for a shot gun shell reloading machine has an elongated body with a pair of longitudinally spaced slots and a longitudinally movable slider in each slot forming variable volume shot and powder receiving chambers respectively with an inner end of the respective slot, the shot and powder receiving chambers being open at the top and bottom of the body. The body has a web portion extending across each slot adjacent to the bottom thereof and each slider has a bottom surface slidably engaging the web portion of the respective slot. An adjusting nut is rotatably mounted at each end of the body, and a threaded rod extends from each slider in threading engagement with a respective adjusting nut. Rotation of the nut adjusts the longitudinal position of the respective slider and thereby adjusts the volume of the respective chamber.</p> |
