ROBBIN RETAINING DEVICE IN WIRE ROD WINDER

PURPOSE:To retain a bobbin assuredly and easily by clamping both flange surfaces of the bobbin between front and rear pressing surfaces and radially projecting an engaging piece by the axial displacement to be brought into pressure contact with the inner peripheral surface of a shaft hole of the bobbin. CONSTITUTION:A bobbin retaining device comprises a front retaining means 6 fixed to the end portion of a bobbin driving shaft 5 and a rear retaining means 7 opposed to the front retaining means 6 and adapted to move along the axis of the shaft 5. The front retaining means 6 is arranged so that an operating rod 36 is advanced by the forward movement of an operating rod 18 by a cylinder, whereby an engaging piece 8a is radially projected outward by the slant action of a slant concave groove 40 of the operating rod 36 to be brought into pressure contact with the inner peripheral surface of a shaft hole 4b of a bobbin 4. The rear retaining means is arranged so that a movable shaft 43 is advanced by a cylinder to bring the pressing surface 7a of a pressing ring 55 into contact with the flange surface 4a of a bobbin 4, and an engaging piece 8b is brought into pressure contact with the inner peripheral surface of the bobbin shaft hole 4b in the same slant action.
