The plant cloche is formed by a plastics plate of variable shape, together with end sections. Screwed joints (2) on the end sections (1a) allow the plate to be locked in different open positions, and the end sections can also have extensions by which they are secured to the ground or window-boxes etc. The cloche can be transported flat, and is easily erected and adjusted to suit window-boxes etc of different widths.
