PURPOSE:To inexpensively manufacture a squirrel-cage type rotor by filling molten aluminum in a slot, on which heat resistant insulating paint is coated to die cast a squirrel-cage coil, thereby omitting a particular baking step. CONSTITUTION:Heat resistant paint is coated on the inner surface of a slot 3 of a rotor core, and molten aluminum or aluminum alloy is filled in the slot 3 to die cast a squirrel-cage coil 7. The paint coated on the inner surface of the slot 3 is seized on the inner surface of the slot 3 by direct heating with molten metal, thereby forming a slot insulating layer 10 between the coil 7 and the rotor core. |
