An electrical snap lock or an electrical spring-bolt lock comprises a spring bolt which is arranged on a door leaf and which has a bevelled side inclined relative to a catch side, a single-catch lock device being arranged on a rebate structure for the purpose of rotation between a closed holding position and an open release position, said single-catch lock device being lockable electrically in the closed state. The single-catch lock has a bolt-receiving recess which is limited by a first surface and by a holding tooth, an inner catch surface and an outer side cooperating with the bevelled side of the spring bolt, in order to make it easier to lock the door. The catch surface of the tooth forms an angle with the catch side of the bolt when the latter is located in the recess, when the single-catch lock is in the closed position. Play between the door and frame is thereby eliminated.
