PURPOSE:To position a work which is coaxially held to a work arbor and is secured thereto, in a predetermined working position. CONSTITUTION:A common work arbor 16 onto which a work is attached, is fitted into the chuck 13 of a work spindle 4 and an arbor storing part 26a on a work magazine 26, and therefore, no change is necessary to the chuck 13 and as well the arbor storing part 26a on the work magazine 26. There is no need of centering since the work is supported by the work arbor 16, and is processed in such a condition that the work is grasped by the chuck 13 of the work spindle 4. The positioning of the work in a processing position of a desired work part, may be previously made on a work replacing device, and therefore, the work may be fed to an automatic and continuous working area. |
