The cabinet (1), which is open on its underside, has an insert plate (15) which is inserted from below and then screwed on. It has a strip (14) which, with frame strips (10, 11, 12) already present, forms a frame which bounds the open underside. Said frame serves for supporting parts which can be inserted in the cabinet loosely, such as a compartment insert (26) or a holder for paper towels. Further insert parts, such as a soap dispenser (19), which cannot be inserted in this manner, are fitted onto holders which are then attached to the insert plate (15) in one of at least two positions provided. This design can meet the individual requirements for the arrangement of these insert parts (19, 26, 27) without adversely affecting the serial production of the cabinet; the insert parts can even be newly arranged at any time by the users themselves. <IMAGE>
