PURPOSE:To perform smoothly a rolling of a material of thin wall thickness, by forming the shape of a skew roll so that the gap between a disk guide roll and the skew roll becomes zero at the over filling side. CONSTITUTION:In a skew rolling mill which uses a disk guide 2 such as a diescher mill, the shape 1-1 of a skew roll 1 is recessed to fit it to a disk guide 2. And a gap between the guide 2 and the roll 1 is made to be zero at the over filling side through the distance of rolling direction containing a rolling zone R rolled by a plug P or a mandrel 3. Thus the generation of an over filling part 4 is prevented by said rolls, and a well shaped product of thin wall thickness is obtained. |
