PURPOSE:To enable efficient removal of flaws scattered on the surface of work to be ground by arranging a TV camera for photographing the surface of the work to be movable while a grinder is moved in X, Y and Z axes perpendicular to one another. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus has a grinder 1, grinder movement devices 20, 30 and 40 for moving the grinder 1 in X, Y and Z axes perpendicular to one another, TV cameras TC1 and TC2 for photographing the surface A of work to be ground arranged on a surface parallel with a xy plane determined by the X and Y axes and a TV camera movement device for moving the cameras TC1 and TC2 on the surface parallel with the xy plane. Also arranged are sight devices C1 and C2 for indicating a sight mark to be coincided with a flaw on the surface A of the work appearing on TV receivers TV1 and TV2 and on the screen and a flaw position output unit 6 for outputting a signal equivalent to a displacement of the sight mark in the TV cameras TC1 and TC2 and in the screen. |
