PURPOSE:To set a main hose line into such a condition as not to hinder the activity of a working barge, by a method wherein floating bodies are fitted to a hose line at predetermined intervals through depth-maintaining members, and the hose line is maintained below the water surface. CONSTITUTION:Of the parts in the system of a main hose line 4, only the floating bodies 21 provided at predetermined intervals are exposed to the water surface, and the main hose line 4 is located at a position about 5m below the water surface. Accordingly, a working barge having a draft of about 3.5m and the maximum breadth of about 9.8m can be steamed over the main hose line 4 by passing between the floating bodies 21. The purposes of setting the underwater weight of the main body 4a of the hose to be lighter is to enable each pair of hose lines 4 can maintain a substantially straight line in the condition of being supported by the fleating body 21 under the stiffness of the main body 4a, to reduce the tension applied to the depth-maintaining members 20 and to reduce wear of the members 20. |
