摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain improved control efficiency by correcting the quantity of initial corrector in a memory by reiterating addition or subtraction as prespecified until the transient air-fuel- ratio of an engine reaches a target value and by rewriting the quantity of initial correct in the memory into the above optimum quantity of correction. CONSTITUTION:When the air-fuel ratio is lean during the time of engine acceleration, the quantity of the initial correction CF, which is decided by detection values of both a throttle sensor 7 and rotary sensor 11, is read out so that pulse width T of an injection pulse signal is corrected for fuel injection. At step 29, it is judged whether the air-fuel-ratio has changed from a lean side to rich side according to a detection value by an O2-sensor 9 after fuel injection. If the air-fuel ratio atill remains lean, prespecified quantity alpha is operated to the quantity of initial correction CF to go back to step 28. When the air-fuel ratio hasturned rich at step 29, the quantity of initial correction is rewritten into current quantity of correction CF, or the optimum correction, considering the transient quantity of correction CF optimum. Next, when acceleration is carried out from this state, the quantity of fuel injection can be corrected with the optimum quantity of correction from the beginning. As a result, the theoretical air-fuel ratio can quickly be achieved, while emission can greatly be improved.
