PURPOSE:To attempt to improve the cooling efficiency of a frame body by increasing its surface area through such an arrangement wherein one pitch between protruded stripes to be provided on a stator frame body is made wider than that of other stripes and a seat for mounting a terminal box is installed between windened protruded stripes. CONSTITUTION:A plate is bended and formed into waveforms and it is composed to become cylindrical condition so that those waveforms are arranged in radial condition and protruded stripes are formed in the direction of axis and air ventilation routes for cooling are formed by those protruded stripes and by these, a stator frame is composed. On this stator frame, a notched portion 25 is formed at its part and one pitch between protruded stripes is made wider than other pitches and a seat 5a for mounting a main terminal box is installed to the notch 25 and further a seat 7a for mounting an auxiliary terminal box 6 is installed to the widened pitch. Unlike a conventional frame body wherein seats for mounting are integrally provided by contraction forming, protruded stripes can be formed throughout the entire surface of a frame body, therefore the cooling surface area of the frame body can be increased. |
