MEDICAL PACKAGING MATERIAL

摘要

PURPOSE:To prepare a packaging material at a low cost, having excellent shape- retainability and transparency, and suitable as a blister packaging container for radiation sterilization, by compounding polystyrene with a specific block star polymer. CONSTITUTION:The objective material is prepared by compounding (A) 20- 70wt%, preferably 40-60wt% of polystyrene with (B) 80-30wt%, preferably 60-40wt% of a block star copolymer of formula (St-Bu)xY (St is styrene polymer; Bu is butadiene polymer; Y is atomic group derived from the polyfunctional treating agent used in the formation of the star polymer; X is the number of the functional groups of the polyfunctional treating agent, and is integer of >=3), and (C) 0-20wt%, preferably 0-10wt% of other resin having no adverse effect to transparency of the material (e.g. styrene-butadiene rubber). The content of St in the (St-Bu) of the component (B) is 50-80wt%, preferably 65- 76wt%.
