PURPOSE:To anylyze the configuration of the surface of a material to be measured through online system, by converting the detected analog signal into a digital signal, and computing the surface configuration coefficient indicating the surface of configuration of the material to be measured. CONSTITUTION:The surface configuration along the circumferential direction of a grindstone 5 is detected by a detector 7, with the rotation of the grindstone 5. The detected output is inputted to an A/D converter 17 through a DC amplifier 11, a low frequency passing filter 12, a transmitter 14, a receiver 15, and an oscillator 16. The output is converted into a digital signal. Said digital signal is inputted to a computer 18. The computation of the surface configuration coefficient and the like is performed in the computer 18. The computed result is once stored in a magnetic disk 20. Thereafter, the configuration of the working surface of the grindstone is outputted from a plotter 21, and the surface configuration coefficient of the grindstone is outputted from a line printer 22. |
