For the infinitely variable adjustment, provision is made for the lounger to consist of an underframe and a receptacle. In this case, the receptacle is formed by runner-type longitudinal supports which are arranged in parallel and are connected via transverse supports. The longitudinal supports have depositing edges which extend in the manner of a circular arc essentially in the central region and are received with spacing via two transverse holders of the underframe. The receptacle on the underframe is adjustable via the depositing edges. The radius of the central region of the longitudinal supports of circular arc-shaped construction and the spacing of the transverse holders of the underframe are dimensioned in such a way that self-locking of the receptacle results in any individual position.
