A description is given of a method for fixing a component (2) on the outer circumference of a tube (1), in which a hole (3) is drilled in the component (2), the hole being large enough to accommodate the tube (1). The tube (1) is inserted into the hole (3) in the component (2) and the area in which the tube (1) is connected to the component (2) is expanded by means of a punch (5) or the like. By means of this method, tubes provided with a flange, tubes provided with a lever, cam shafts or other parts for a motor car or other machines can be produced rapidly and straightforwardly without welding or cutting of material. <IMAGE> |
