PURPOSE:To obtain a temperature sensor easy to control heat time constant and good in humidity resistance, by mold coating a sensor element with a thermoplastic resin and a resin contg. an inorg. powder. CONSTITUTION:A resin, such as polyamide, polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, polybutylene terephthalate, or polyphenylene oxide, and polyamide contg. magnesia and alumina having 150 mesh average particle size are used, and the temp. sensor element 1 is coated 2 by injection molding these resins. When an amt. of inorganic powder is added by <=0.01wt%, thermal conductivity of the resin is little changed and no effect is found on control of the heat time constant, and when added by >=45wt%, thermoplasticity of the resin is remarkably hindered, and the mold coating of the element with the resin is made difficult. |
