PURPOSE:To prevent coming off of a lithium plate from the punching metal when press-winding the punching metal together with the lithium plate by a method wherein the punching metal of stainless steel undergoes the solution treatment in order to be used as a collector on the side of the negative pole after lowering its hardness. CONSTITUTION:Punching metal made of stainless steel undergoes the solution treatment for being used as a collector on the side of the negative electrode. That is to say that the punching metal made of stainless steel undergoes the heat treatment for 30min at 1,050 deg.C in the argon atmosphere followed by cooling down to the room temperature in 20min. By said solution treatment, the punching metal lowers its Vickers hardness from 250 before the treatment down to 170 after the treatment. Next, the punching metal 3 having received the solution treatment said above is made into the collector on the side of the negative electrode while one end thereof is spot-welded to the negative pole collector rod 8 made of stainless steel followed by pressing a lithium plate 2 to said punching metal 3 in order to form the negative pole plate 1 and said negative pole 1 is overlapped by the positive pole plate 4 wherein the collector 6 is made to hold the positive pole black mixture 5 and wrapped by a separator 7 made of polypropylene non woven fabric and the negative pole plate 1 and the positive pole plate 4 are spirally wound centering around the negative pole collector rod 8 on its periphery in order to form the spiral electrode. |
