PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform multicolor recording in simple constitution, by a method wherein ink thin films are formed to a plurality of slit parts formed to a rotatable slit disc in a ring shape and non-colored liquid injected particles from nozzles are passed through said ink thin films and colored to perform printing. CONSTITUTION:The ink 7 in an ink tank 6 is quided to a slit disc 1 rotated by a motor 18 through a pad 4 by a capillary phenomenon and ink thin films 8 are formed to a plurality of slit parts formed in a ring shape by surface tension. In this state, non-colored liquid particles 12 are injected from nozzles 9 in synchronous relation to the passage of the slit parts 3 by an electrostriction element 11 and said liquid particles 12 charged corresponding to an image signal by a charging electrode 13 and deflected by a deflecting plate 14 break through and pass the ink films 8 to be colored to print an image on a printing medium 17. By this method, clogging at the nozzles is prevented and only a pressure chamber or a liquid particle recovery pump common to each other nozzles is used and inexpensive multicolor recording can be carried out. |
