of the Invention A wick applicator for herbicide which includes first and second horizontally elongated conduits. The first conduit is elevated above the second conduit and a plurality of wicks extend between the conduits and are in fluid communication with the interior of each. Herbicide is provided to the interior of the first conduit while a vacuum is applied to the interior of the second conduit to withdraw herbicide therefrom which is directed thereto by the wicks. A pump is utilized for the purpose and the same recirculates the herbicide back to the first conduit to conserve on herbicide use and to provide a fine degree of control over the flow rate of herbicide through the wicks.
