PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a calling loss ratio when a mobile station requests plural radio channels in the case of operating data communication in a mobile communication system. SOLUTION: A mobile station transmits a signal for requesting the assignment of radio communication channels including the information of the number of channels to be assigned to a radio base station. The radio base station retrieves the radio communication channel fulfilling communication quality, and when the radio communication channels in the number requested by the mobile station can not be retrieved, the radio base station transmits a signal for rejecting the assignment of the radio communication channels including the information of a reason for the impossibility of the retrieval of the radio communication channels to the mobile station. The mobile station or a data communication equipment connected with the mobile station decreases the number of the radio communication channels whose assignment is requested from the information of the reason for the impossibility of the retrieval of the radio communication channels included in the received signal for rejecting the assignment of the radio communication channels, and makes a request for the radio communication channels to the radio base station again.
