PURPOSE:To contrive the preciseness in controlling a whole air-fuel ratio by making feedback control of an air-fuel ratio of each cylinder to a given air- fuel ratio, by controlling individually a fuel supply quantity to each cylinder while discriminating and detecting the density of exhaust gas of each cylinder by one exhaust sensor. CONSTITUTION:A first cylinder is in an exhaust stroke when a counter 16 counts up to twelve from the time of a reference action posture of an engine, and when detection delay time of an exhaust sensor 10 is equivalent for two cylinders, the number up to ten is read out from a memory 14 based on an output of an air flow sensor 6 and applied to decision circuits 17a-17d. An output of the sensor 10 is determined as density of exhaust gas through a result 2 of calculation of these circuits and only the circuit 17a applies an operation signal to a gate 18a. In addition to the above, signal treatment is performed by circuits 21a and 22a, while an injection pulse from a circuit 7 is corrected and controlled based on an exhaust sensor output from the circuit 22a and is applied to an injection valve 5a. Then, an injection quantity is adjusted and controlled by the output of the sensor 10 and feedback control of an air-fuel ratio is performed to a given air-fuel ratio. |
