PURPOSE:To provide a flame-retardant compsn. having excellent weather resistance and suitable for use in injection molding, consisting of low-density PE, high- density PE, chlorinated PE, a halogen-contg. org. compd. or antimoney oxide and an inorg. material having an Si-O bond. CONSTITUTION:A compsn. consists of low-density PE(A) having a density of 0.9-0.93g/cm<3>, a m.p. of 95-110 deg.C, an MI of 1-100g/10min and a 11C or higher long side chain, high-density PE(B) having a density of 0.93-0.98g/cm<3>, a m.p. of 112-140 deg.C, an MI of 0.01-100g/10min and eight or less 6C or lower side chains per 1,000 carbon atoms of its main chain, chlorinated PE(C), a halogen- contg. org. compd. (D) and/or antimony oxide (E) and an inorg. material (F) contg. an Si-O bond in such a proportion that component C accounts for 10- 50wt%, component A accounts for 30-80wt%, and component B accounts for 5wt% or more, respectively, of the combined amount of A+B+C, and the combined amount of D+E is 5-50pts.wt. and the amount of component F is 5- 15pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of the combined amount of A+B+C. |
