A support comprises a pair of opposed walls which grip the component with a force applied by flexing at least one wall which grip the component with a force applied by flexing at least one wall. The support engages the mould to deflect the wall, pref. by at least one projection (36,38) from the exterior of the flexible wall. The inner face of at least one wall pref. has two raised bosses (56) to oppose movement of a component and the component is gripped laterally of the wall deflection. The support is pref. vented to ensure complete encapsulation of the circuitry.
