PURPOSE:To prevent effectively the lubricating oil from leakage toward the outside of a sealing plate of the titled device by a method wherein a seal plate center hole diameter of a shaft sealing device is reduced as compared with conventional type, and a throttle part extended along a thrust collar is formed on a periphery of the center hole. CONSTITUTION:In the titled shaft sealing device, a thrust collar 5 fixed to a turbine shaft 2 is rotatably held by a center housing 1 connected with a compressor case and a turbine case of a suppercharger via a thrust metal 6, also a disc part 10 formed at a intermediate part of the collar 5 is surrounded by a seal plate 8 which is detachably attached to a metal 6. In this case, an inner diameter end of the seal plate 8 is reduced to be close to inside of an outer diameter of the thrust collar 5 and a throttling part 12 of the seal plate 8 is provided extending by l length in the shaft direction. Thereby, a lubricating oil in a A chamber surrounded by the seal plate 8 is surely prevented from the leakage into a B chamber side. |
