PURPOSE:To improve the contrast between an all radiation portion and a nonradiation portion in each color element, by furnishing a filter plate formed of color filters to allow the penetration of the light only radiated from each color element of red, green, and blue. CONSTITUTION:A filter plate 2 is furnished which is formed of red, green, and blue filters 21, 22 and 23 to allow the penetration of only the light radiated from the red, green, and blue color elements 11, 12 and 13 respectively. Therefore, each color filter 21, 22 or 23 of red, green, or blue of the filter plate 2 can be penetrated by the color light emitted from the respective color element 11, 12, or 13, of red, green, and blue, without decrement. And the light in the area other than the responding color light is absorbed to improve the relative contrast of the color light between the red, green, and blue color elements 11, 12, and 13. Moreover, the contrast between the portion of all radiation of the color elements 11, 12, and 13, and the portion of nonradiation (black area) is also improved.
